Support Surfaces
Group 1 Therapeutic Support Surfaces are designed to aid in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. Three types of modalities allow you to choose the right product for the individual user. Product types include alternating pressure overlays, gel overlays, and foam mattress replacements. All of these products are simple to use and easy to maintain. Group 2 Mattress Replacement systems include the Low-Air Loss and Alternating Pressure Systems used for treating more complex pressure ulcers.
Gel-Foam Mattress - Invacare
Group 1 Several large 2" thick gel bladders inside polyurethane foam provide maximum patient comfort. Durable base material with strong elastic corner straps reduce overlay movement .Vapor permeable water-resistant cover with low friction and shear. Does not contain latex.
Solace Prevention Mattress - Invacare
Group 1. A visco layer of foam covers the heel section in addition to the two high quality foam layer construction of the mattress overall. Comfort and support are provided with built-in side supports. This can be provided without a prescription!
Low-Air Loss Mattress Systems - Mellen-Air
Group 2 Surface. Low air loss mattress replacement system are quiet, effective and reliable relief from pressure ulcers, with a one-piece mattress that virtually runs itself.
Alternating Pressure Mattress System - Invacare
Group 2 Surface. This alternating pressure mattress has 16 horizontally configured bladders. Product will not bottom out with mattress hose attached to the compressor power unit.
